Water treatment is a process that improves the quality of water to make it suitable for a specific end-use. The end use may be drinking, industrial water supply, irrigation, river flow maintenance, water recreation or many other uses, including being safely returned to the environment. Water treatment removes contaminants and undesirable components, or reduces their concentration so that the water becomes fit for its desired end-use.

Sand Filter

Sand filtration system is normally used and very robust method to remove suspended solids from water. The filtration medium consists of a multiple layer of sand with a variety in size and specific gravity. Sand filters can be supplied in different sizes and materials both hand operated or fully automatically. This filter will effectively remove up to 20 – 40 micron of the suspended solids.

Carbon Filter

Carbon filter is normally used to remove color, odor and small from water. This enormous area alone makes activated carbon extremely useful for a wide range of applications, but activated carbon can undergo further chemical treatment to increase its adsorption properties.

Activated carbon is derived from a carbonaceous source material. Examples include wood, bamboo, sawdust, willow peat, coconut shell, peach pits, coir, petroleum pitch, and a variety of coal. But regular carbon isn’t the same as activated carbon. To form millions of tiny pores across its surface, carbon must first be “activated.”Activated carbon is used in a vast range of applications from gold purification to sewage treatment. Some of the common uses include air purification, hydrogen and methane storage, metal extraction, teeth whitening and other cosmetic products, and air filters in respirators and gas masks.

Iron Removal Filter

Iron removal filter is that kind of filter that removes iron from the water. There is various method to removal iron from water i.e.

Water Softener Plant

NEERWAY offer highly durable Water Softener Plant that is used for removing excessive levels of calcium and magnesium dissolved in it. The water gets hard when it contains more of calcium and magnesium ions. Softening is the ion exchange process, which is done through the resin. The Water Softening Plants are designed to produce treated Water to suit for various applications. Treated Water is of consistency quality with low residual hardness throughout the service cycle. The high synthetic resin is used to exchange Sodium ion with hardness forming Calcium and Magnesium ions. After producing desired output, the resin is regenerated with (NaCI) Sodium Chloride solution after which unit is again ready to deliver next batch. The Water softening system consists of a mineral tank and a brine tank. The mineral tank and the Water supply pipe is connected due to which Water passes through the tank before it can be used. Mineral tank consist of negatively charged beads or resins that attracts positively charged calcium and magnesium.
